| | | I'm a fan. I liked O, but I think his new album is much better. It has a lot more diversity to it. |

i love it, and i think lisa hannigan is fantastic on it. O was really good as well but i'm particularly fond of this new album. i'm angry he didn't come to canada when he toured with fiona. |

What do you think? | both. i read a review of "9" that said anyone who loved "0" should just forget about it and not compare, but it's hnard not too. for starters, the last track is 25 minutes and spans a few songs, just like 'eskimo' ... second, that girl is singing with him still. eh, he's a total twat but i semi-like it. |

It's damn near perfect, so husky. If it was possible to marry a voice, I'd be proposing to her voice immediately. |

| | | Damien's O is good for the right mood. Taken out occasionally, when its raining, getting dumped, what ever's apt.
Only really depressing if its on your daily palylist. |

| | | I don't like him enough to actually buy his albums, but I saw him open for fiona apple and I enjoyed some of his songs. I think "the blower's daughter" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. |

| | | his lyrics are so boring, very mushy. but his songs are lovely enough. i've only listened to O and think it has some sad melodies. and his song in closer was okay. |

| | | I hated the new cd at first, but after about 13 plays I love it. He's deceptively simple, makes you think its easy, but it's brilliant. He's spawned a lot of pretenders, but he still sings songs simply, and from the heart.
Loving this song..
Woke up and for the first time the animals were gone
It's left this house empty now, not sure if I belong
Yesterday you asked me to write you a pleasant song
I'll do my best now, but you've been gone for so long
The window's open now and the winter settles in
We'll call it Christmas when the adverts begin
I love your depression and I love your double chin
I love 'most everything that you bring to this offering
Oh I know that I left you in places of despair
Oh I know that I love you, so please throw down your hair
At night I trip without you, and hope I don't wake up
'Cause waking up without you is like drinking from an empty cup
Woke up and for the first time the animals were gone
Our clocks are ticking now so before our time is gone
We could get a house and some boxes on the lawn
We could make babies and accidental songs
I know I've been a liar and I know I've been a fool
I hope we didn't break yet, but I'm glad we broke the rules
My cave is deep now, yet your light is shining through
I cover my eyes, still all I see is you
Oh I know that I left you in places of despair
Oh I know that I love you, so please throw down your hair
At night I trip without you, and hope I don't wake up
'Cause waking up without you is like drinking from an empty cup |

| | | Tangerine O is the only one i have been able to purchase
Carter uploaded some songs on i think the 2nd to last page in the mp3 thread from last week that is closed
i am just now listening to the last song on it that i haven't heard yet
can you post woman like a man?
i haven't heard that one yet
volcano is the first one i ever heard
and it was like love at first listen
there are some on O i like even more than it
and a few that don't do much of anything for me
i need to listen again to the new ones i got from the other thread before i make a sure opinion on them yet
