| | | Cheesy and not so cheesy christmas songs needed! I know this is kinda early, but I'm responsible for the background music at our school's christmas party, (not the "official" one but the PARTY party with drinks and all). So I have to make the playlist.
And I really don't have much christmas songs, so if you guys have I would be thankful if you shared I was thinking like Mariah Carey's All I want for christmas.. and of course Wham's Last Christmas. Cheesy classics like that and why not rare and unknown ones too, also modern versions of the traditional songs would be really cool. It doens't necessarily have to be all danceable because it's going to be mostly on he background.
And it doens't HAVE to be cheesy... |

| | | there is a whole album of modern christmas songs called, "just say noel." it has aimee mann, sonic youth, elastica, beck, etc. on it.
also aimee mann just put out a christmas album called "one more drifter in the snow."
sufjan stevens put out a christmas box set, but those songs might be harder to find. i havent heard them either, so i cant vouch for them.
oh and there is the charlie brown christmas album. thats always fun.
if i think of other and specifics, i will let you know. |
