| | yeah, you're on to something. i'll have to listen a few more times and give it some thought. something is bound to dawn on me.
but everytime i have heard it, when those VIOLINS kick in towards the end......*oh groan and cringe* its just too much. the lyrics, the super expressive singing..overload! it wrecks any potential it had and makes it SOOOO cheesy. it's like screaming 'oh pity, woe is me, look at my tears...waaaaaahhhhh'
sorry if you like that song, but MAN that violin was unneccesary |

| | | uggh, the video is so cheessyyy. I think it's lame. I mean she is obviously taken inspiration from Marilyn Monroe and that 1800's circus aesthetic, but frankly, it's so pretentious it ends up being a mockery.
It's not like when Madonna used to do Marilyn Monroe, or when Blondie did the circus thing for the good boys video, I mean there is no comparisong to that and what Christina is doing.
That woman is lame!!! |

| | | Im sure some bits of a Mariah Carey ballard like Hero might have accidently been thrown in. Its definitely O.T.T. but its not the worst. I dont know why everyone's bitching about it, I say thank GOd this is on and not S Club 7 and Liberty X and a time where that shit was played every 5 seconds here. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
