i meant to take a guess.well i am gonna say the last 2 she doesnt have a chance in hell to go diamond or multidiamond there are too many haters and people who wont give her a chance and she has never gone near those numbers and she isnt a mass appeal artist she is an acquired taste and her best chance is multiplatinum 4 million is prolly beyond wishful thinking and hoping and isnt exactly realistic but if the project is focused and gets airplay(a format will play it)it could easily pull 2 million.

I would say it has a chance at outselling AS but you have to take in to account that AS was on a major label who did a little bit to push the album. She is going to have to push this album all on her own. Luckily for her she has the clout to get on talk shows and do a tour.

I think it will outsell AS in the long run but I wouldn't be totally suprised if the first weeks sales were not as much or even with AS.

I think the overall quality and her current state will be enough for it to outdo AS and give her a good shot at going gold. (It might take a year to get to gold but she has a shot I think)

I think it will probably do much better than AS, because theres going to be more promotion for this one. Courtney's already done tons more promotion for Dirty Blonde than she ever did for AS, and that's not even an album.

Plus she's sober, so when she hits the talk show circuit this time around she won't sound like a trainwreck when she sings. And hopefully she'll be playing with a band that actually can play their instruments as opposed to just looking like hot Barbie rocker girls.

And anyway, the new album (what we've heard of it) is already a million times better than AS, so that's gotta help.

But to be honest I don't care how much it sells or how many awards she gets, I just want a good album. I hope Courtney doesn't care either.

The difference between the book and the album is that the book is being released by a major company who can afford to promote the book but herrecord is on an indie label which doesn't have the means to promote the record.

She's on the same label as the artist who sold the most in 2006. James Blunt is on the same label and he had no problem selling 8 million.

Courtney will push this album.

I don't even think she has to give a heavy promotion. If the album becomes critically acclaimed (which I have a feeling it will be) and she's got a good solid first single, the album will do good.

I see it selling 350-500K.
