Not fucking likely is it.
Goddamn idiots.

I'm buying this tomorrow and only have the slightest idea what to expect. I want it to symbolize a new era for me & and hopefully one that doesn't involve you fucking bastards. I also want it because it's the one to have. It's probably the one most tourists have.

Maybe a couple Blur albums and something pre-Hounds of Love by Kate Bush. I'm always after the perfect combination, that way when I look back on this wretched phase, it can be all about the music.

The more time that passes, the less I think of Rapestock and 9/11. The first part of this decade is more about Kid A, Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea & Music.
It used to be about Le Tigre and At the Drive-In but I phased that shit out of rotation long ago.

Here's somebody's trinity, but not mine:

Queens of the Stone-Age, songs for the deaf
Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld

Bono and Edge are cunt breaths and I'm listening to Mullen's and Clayton's mission impossible theme.

Kraftwerk albums are generally pretty good, so I'm sure you'd be happy with just about any of them.

I don't get this trinity thing.

Expect cold German electronic music that I enjoy quite a bit.

Kraftwerk are the best. I'm not too keen on their remixed versions though.

trans europe express is a good start to kraftwerk.

blur - go for modern life is rubbish, brit pop before brit pop was penned.

I ADORE Kraftwerk. And Trans-Europe Express is generally a great place to start, along with Computerworld.

Other (Deutsch) bands a Kraftwerk fan might enjoy:

Neu!, especially their Neu! 1975 album, which is kind of punk-rockish:

And DAF, who have been credited with "inventing" Electronic Body Music. My favorite album of theirs is Gold und Liebe.
