ONXRT: Live From the Archives, Volume 9 features live performances that took place in either the intimate surroundings of the XRT air studio or at local concert venues, and offers listeners a unique context for some of their favorite artists’ work. Proceeds of ONXRT: Live From the Archives, Volume 9 will benefit the Columbia College Chicago Scholarship and Metropolitan Family Services. Columbia College’s Al Parker Scholarship assists outstanding sophomore, junior, and senior level radio students defray tuition costs. The scholarship is awarded annually to the students who, by recommendation of the Columbia College radio faculty, have demonstrated considerable achievement in the department and have significant potential for future creative development in the broadcast arts.

For 150 years, Metropolitan Family Services has been a voice for families in Chicago's city and suburban communities. With compassionate counsel and services for families struggling to overcome incredible challenges, Metropolitan makes a difference. From out-of-school programs to elder care services, every family is encouraged to work together to realize their amazing strength.
