Why isn't she acting any more? Or, more correctly, "attempting to act". I'd like to see her play a rape victim. Or possibly someone her own age. Both?

I think Hung Up is probably one of her best singles, definitely recently and overall. However her last bout of singles were more "make money/high chart peaks" less "i'm doing what the hell i want". It's admirable that she did American Life (even if you don't like it) at the time when she did it. You can tell she wanted to make that record. It wasn't obvious and plastic like 4 Minutes or a hark back to her glory days in the eighties like Give It 2 Me. On the contrary, She's Not Me is probably the most interesting and brazen she's been in a while (this is by Madonna standards) and could have been a really good single post-divorce. Whatever.

Last album was ok I guess. But the new one I havent even bothered with. not interested. Maybe she will do a more 'mature' album next or retire altogether.

personally I like Madonna in all of her phases and different albums...I kind of take her in as a whole changing moving entity...I saw her do Jump live and it was amazing seeing her hold her own against the dancers...I am currently trying to find tickets for Vegas that don't cost $1000...Also considering that they knew they were getting divorced for a year She's Not Me should have been a hint towards the outcome of their marriage.

I think that the Confessions Tour is an artistic high point for Madonna.

In fact, I think it's her only relevant contribution to the music world after Music and The Drowned World tour.

And you can totally see the influence the confessions tour has had on other pop acts' tours.

That tour was really amazing, the opening was so lush and dramatic, and who knew she could make THAT with such a mediocre track like Future Lovers?? I mean the song came out with great strength and style that lacked on the album.

Of course I haven't seen the sticky and sweet tour but judging by the pictures it doesn't come to par with confessions.
