That's lame. It isn't emotional at all, even if the "famous faces, far off places, trinkets i can buy..." part is mildly thrilling.

The lyric should be "I exploited love for fame without a second thought" or something, since motherhood was her gimmick for that album. She acts as though she walked away from fame to be a mother.

Same old Madonna. Singing about what she thinks she should feel instead of what she actually feels.

She'll do it to turn us all into her step children but as soon as we don't agree to convert to her hollywood kaballah, she'll pull the plug. But, if you're smart you will lead her on into thinking you will after a few thousand dollars, maybe some fine dining...a new car etc..
