Girls Aloud have questioned Pete Doherty's musical talent.

The five-piece girl band have challenged the Babyshambles frontman to make an album as good as their own efforts, as well as joking about his physical appearance.

"I guess if you like brown teeth and mouldy fingers, he's your guy," Kimberly Walsh told the Daily Star.

Nadine Coyle added: "He's supposed to be this musical genius. But have you heard him sing? We could make a record that sounded like him - but could he make one that sounded like us?"

I admire her spunk. And I think he should try. I thought Chemistry was a catchy song, so maybe if it was sung by someone with a bit more grit?
