Grace Jones to take part in bizarre Welsh get together
Veteran diva Grace Jones has agreed to take part in a bizarre event which plans to break the world record for the largest "same surname" gathering.
She will join hundreds of other Jones' at The Jones Jones Jones show in Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre on November 3. They plan to beat the current record held by 583 Norbergs who got together in Sweden. Organisers are confident of smashing that total, they told the BBC.
Grace Jones, still best known for her 'Slave To The Rhythm album, is expected to perform at the event.
Jones is one of the most common names in Wales, but participants do not have to have a Welsh link to take part. Grace Jones was born in Jamaica.
