Are these supposed to replace regular CD's or are they going to go the way of laser discs?

There's a lot of shit I want to re-buy, but I can't really justify re-buying albums in the same format I've sold off for booze.

Those 5.1 discs can't be played in standard CD players but they can be played in most DVD players?

How many Cletii are there? I have a feeling they won't take off. It'll be like the efforts to introduce new megafancy cassettes during the last days of cassettes' popularity. Possibly!

you mean 5.1 surround sound dvd audio discs,ok it was like two formats fighting to take over from cd-dvd audio -dvda and super audio cd -sacd.i dont think either will.like some people were having dual discs of their cds with 5.1 dvd audio on one side with like other goodies-videos etc-i know fionas is like that,and durans last one as well as franz ferdinands and i think i have others.they deemed that it wasnt helping the industry so dont expect alot more dual discs-i didnt care much for the dual disc jewel boxes.
