Songs stuck in your head and you can't remember who sings them

Because it often happens and you've got a tune stuck in your head with just a few lyrics and you keep thinking "Damn, which band sings it?!"

Mine, I can't even remember the lyrics, just the tune, and try to type a tune on a message board! It's often played on Kerrang radio (what my housemates listen to, definitely not my fave radio!) and there's a part that goes "Dadada, dadada, dadadadadada" and my housemates think that it's Franz Ferdinand.

That's the song!! I didn't think it was Franz Ferdinand because the voice didn't sound the same.

Well, I have no idea whether I actually like this song or not, but I definitely hum it all the time!

it's even worse when it's only a few seconds of melody. you can remember what the effects sound like, but no way of attaching a voice to a face.
