Courtney Love has agreed to the filming of a new documentary about her life, and her battle with drugs to aid her comeback in the entertainment world.

According to NME, the warts-and-all documentary will portray Love's time in rehab and her efforts to move on from a dark period in her life. The untitled project will be broadcast on Channel 4 and also touch on recording sessions for her new album.

"Courtney gives an intimate portrait of one of the most misunderstood and complicated women in modern popular culture," reads the synopsis.

In other news, Love has been filming her new music video "Letter To God" with X-Men director Brett Ratner.

god, i just hope she sails into this chapter of her life and becomes the classact she deserves to be. no more messy drug moments. let her only drama center around her horrid taste in clothing, not her addictions or questionable lunacy. wouldn't it be nice if she could carve out a career as the mature rock 'n' roll woman? i for one am looking forward to this doc.

i stopped understanding when she slapped on that duck outfit at teh old vic concert.
