Oh and the whole 'Madonna's voice has changed' thing. I agree - it has.

That's because she got trained when she did Evita and from then on, she's stuck to it.

In all honesty, as much as I love Madonna, I miss the old Madonna when she used to sing more freely.

Like on the Hung Up song when she said "I can't keep on waiting, I know that you're still hesitating". It's just sounds so old-british-lady. BUT I still love that song.

well, i liked her latest album much more than her previous efforts. probably because its like her early days.. to me she's come back from being a pretender.. even tho london is still ten times better than new york and that my love for her will never grow. but other than that it's funky shit. a LOT better than everything since bedtime stories. the only good thing she did since bedtime was that "what it feels like for a girl" clip. that was brilliant. all the rest wasn't the true madonna, her core, all that other stuff was her *wanting* to be something she's not, the artificial, superficial - as *real* as she wanted ever-so hardly and badly to drive-it-to-be, which i can understand. she was empty and longing for her substance back. that horse riding accident really fixed her up.

yes, her voice isn't strong like it was in madonna the first album or 'rescue me' but at least it's not her put-on tri hard voice like the rap in american life, (or *even* her worn-out too-many-concerts! dry-whore hanky panky!), plus she's having fun.

Marilyn faked it... it's so obvious! She just faked it better.
