| | | The year isn't done yet and lots of good records are awaiting to be released (like the new Reverend Beat-Man and Hipbone Slim records, and Sunn O)))/Boris collaboration). I've enjoyed tons of albums this year so far, I cannot name them all. However a small few I've played till near death:
Angelic Process - Coma Waerning CD
A Wonderful ambient drone record about living and dying in a coma.
Wolfmangler - Dwelling In A Dead Raven For The Glory Of Crucified Wolves CD
Open tuned stand up bass with violin bow, distortion, and a Polish Werewolf for a storytelling singer.
Grails - Black Tar Prophecies Vol. II LP
Keiji Haino - Animamima 2XCD
A Japanese ghost space mission meets Sitaar for a Tibetan prayer session.
Boris - Pink LP
Boris - Dronevil final 2xCD
Each CD meant to be played in seperate CD players. Really interesting record.
Sunn O))) - White 1 and 2 Boxset w/ bonus tracks LP (the first time playing experience on this ruled. I was able to feel and hear the music vibrations in my stone walled basement while my stereo was two floors up).
Birds of Maya - S/T CDR
Tours and shows that stand out? Sunn O))), The Monks, and the Touch & Go Anniversary to name a few. Of course I couldn't attend any of these shows sadly, heh.... |

| | | Off the top of my head, big ups for Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Raconteurs, recent Bjork-ish thing.
