Not overly keen on the spoken bit at the begnning, hilariously over the top, and the new image doesn't sit too well, but they have a U2 guitar vibe going on, which I know isn't maybe going to be necessarily popular, but I personally love Edge's guitar work, so like I say, I'm a convert.
But I think they need to develop a sense of humour. |

WYWY is, to not mince words, fucking amazing. the church footage at the start is really cool, and it inspired a frenzied google search as i was so desperate to find screencaps. really though... the lyrics are part of that rare club, the type that just hit you straight away. i cannot even believe that the first verse and chorus was written by a guy - dude knows how to get into the head of a female. it blows me away. |

and i really like the song too. im like bryan, im a bit embarassed about it though. cant really say why. i have hot fuss, i enjoy it, esp like you say, the first half. and midnight show as well. im not sure what to make of the image of the band though, so i dont really pay attention to them as individuals.
the song is like coldplay "talk" half bred with springsteen "born to run" (it even has that same neato desending chord thing! ). which in my opinion makes for a really really good, big, sentimental song. i like it each time i hear it more.
i feel weird admitting that i like them. lol. ugh. :TARD:x10000.
