BITCH
=====
Armed with an electric violin, a ukulele and a bass guitar, Bitch (formerly of Bitch and Animal), is on the road and rampage again with a fistful of new songs from her upcoming debut solo release, Make this/Break this, which will be released October 10th on Kill Rock Stars. She is an entertainer and songwriter who has pulled audiences to their feet worldwide with her politically charged and personally wrenched lyrics, her atypical instrumentation, minimalist sound and wildly dramatic stage persona.
Her former band, Bitch and Animal, released three albums together. Their first album, What's that Smell?, was relased on their own label, and quickly caught the ear of Ani Difranco. Ani co-produced and relased their second album, Eternally Hard, on her own Righteous Babe Records. Robert Hilburn of the LA TImes voted it one of the top ten albums of the year in 2001. Their third album, Sour Juice and Rhyme (also on RBR), was produced by June Millington and got them nominated for album of the year by the GLAAD Media awards, along with Rufus Wainwright, Peaches, and Me'shell Ndegeocello.
Bitch has toured all over the world and has been featured in Spin, The Advocate, The Village Voice, Playboy, Girlfriends, and many other publications. Setting out on a new solo road, Bitch is following her vision of making music that is symphonic, beatworthy, break your heart balladry, and raise the roof revolutionary. She also appears in the new movie Shortbus directed by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch).

MACROMANTICS
==============
Australian rapper and word weaving wizard macromantics took the heartbeat she was born with, and turned it into music. From an early age, she was drawn to the world of sine waves. At the age of 15, she was asked to tour with Ben Lee's teenage pop-punk pack Noise Addict, as a guitarist and it was during this journey that she discovered the essence of Hip Hop.
In 2004, she self released her EP 'Hyperbolic Logic'. Encorporating the D.I.Y punk aesthetic she grew up amidst, it's pierced ears and raised eyebrows, with it's mantra; love, truth, beauty, chaos and it's ripe honesty and proved she was an intruiging young emcee and strong force to be reckoned with.
Kill Rock Stars will be releasing her new record Moments In Movement on January 23rd, 2006.

MARNIE STERN
=============
Marnie Stern is a shredder from New York City. She plays and records music for 12 hours a day locked in her apartment with her cute little dogs, massive TV, and double necked guitar. She is dedicated, wildly original, and incredibly enthusiastic. Slim signed her to 5RC based on a MySpace link. No lie, she's amazing. AMAZING. Refreshing and she's already recorded her own ring tone!
Her debut album is being recorded right now as I type this with Zach Hill (Hella, The Ladies, etc etc etc) in Sacramento, CA. It will be called In Advance of the Broken Arm and will be released on 5RC on January 23rd, 2006.
