or Thistle LLC as they had to name themselves after my google searching revealed about 15 bands with the exact same name, were so good. I had a little trip down memory lane and listened to them in what seems like a hell of a long time. For those who don't know, Thistle were a product of the whole JT LeRoy scam as it were. JT was supposed to write the lyrics for this band..that included his housemates Speedie and Astor. Now, since the whole LeRoy thing was revealed as a hoax in the early part of this year...the band are not going to continue...but despite everything I think the music (as was the writing but lets not get on that debate) was bloody good...and I stand by that statement. They have a myspace which is here...but I have more tracks that they haven't put up which I could (try and) upload if anyone likes and wants more...

yeah it was Which is a shame "JT" always gave the best advice, i could do with some of that right now. It's funny because looking back I now know the reason was because the advice was coming from a 40 year old woman...which is why she knew so much and could always sort all my **** out. I do think it's a shame the whole thing has now crumbled in on itself..no more books, no more music etc... and really the art should speak for itself..sod everything else, that's just extras.
