little miss housewife tips & tricks

do you do the majority of the cooking & cleaning in your home?
are there some chores that you just cannot quite figure out and need a little guidance with?
if yes, then use this thread to ask questions, provide answers or give little tips & tricks that can be useful to others.

i have been doing laundry all day and i just made my way to the bedding.
ugh, i hate folding sheets.
especially fitted sheets...i can never make them look right.
i generally get so frustrated with them, give up and throw them into the linen closet looking like a huge cotton ball!
so today i decided to find out how to fold a fitted correctly.
i found a bunch of step-by-step instructions and i guess i am an idiot because i still cannot really figure it out.
maybe i just need some practice.
here is the link that i found:
http://www.target.com.au/abouttarget...ittedsheet.htm

i am gonna keep trying.
any tips on folding a fitted sheet would be greatly appreciated.

Gah I can never fold fitted sheets either! They are the worst!

My pet peeve is cleaning stainless steel, we have a stainless steel oven and splash back and I can never clean it without it still having nasty smudges. Buffing it takes a lifetime and I can so not be arsed with doing that! Anyone know a good way to clean ss and keep it nice and smudge free?

I can totally sympathise with you. I am neurotic when it comes to cleaning...
