Well. I'm British so I dunno how you do your 'college' applications...
But on our UCAS forms, we had to put similar stuff. I rambled on about
:
* extra reading I'd done
* voluntary work
* work experience
* stuff I've done for pressure groups (but I was applying for a Politics degree)
* canvassing I've done at election-time (" " " " " " " ")
* memberships of clubs/societies at school and college (I embellished
hugely here, obviously!)
etc etc etc. I didn't mention that I'm a binge drinker, my attendance in college averaged 5%, I watch more junk TV than I read political philosophy etc
Basically, it's not what you're
really like outside the classroom. My sister was doing her draft UCAS form and she put all this rubbish about how she's a part-time waitress and she likes listening to music

The admissions tutors don't care about anything like this. But you should put down hobbies (even if they're totally irrelevant to your degree) if you were serious about them and if you achieved something - if you play sport at a competitive level for your school/town/etc or if you play in an orchestra or something like that, because this shows you manage your time effectively, you've got motivation, you aren't just good at one thing etc.
