Debt is an evil, evil thing in our society these days. I was certainly dumb a few years back and racked up some debt. It takes FOREVER to pay it off, while you can rack it up in a DAY!!

Paying off any kind of debt takes perseverence, diligence and a willlingness to go without some heavy 'wants' (at least for me).

There is one website I visit quite often: http://www.cheapskatemonthly.com
the woman spent over $100,000 on her credit cards and hadn't told her husband that's how much debt they had. Then she fessed up and paid it all back. She's written a bunch of books, once that I've read is "How to debt-proof your life" that's pretty good.

another book that I've read and liked:

The richest man in Babylon
