what are the good areas to live, areas to avoid, things to do. whatever.

tell me all you know about austin. i need to find a place to live and since its almost 18 hours from nashville, i wont be able to do this in person. ive already harassed every person i know with ties to austin to do tell me their insider secrets. now i want yours too.

why can't you go there in person to find a place to live?

its 18 hours by car and i currently HAVE a job that requires my presence on a daily basis. im not a good flyer so hopping on a plane and doing it that way just isnt going to happen.

when they're moving to an entirely new city.

go there to find a place to live first.

even if they HAVE a job.
