i currently live in an amazing big fancy mansion basically. it's got like 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, pool, jacuzzi, tennis court etc etc. it's awesome. been living in a share house situation with 4 other people, but the house is so big we don't really see each other

about a week and a half ago i get a call at work from one of my other housemates, the owner of the house is there, with the sheriff of the court, to serve summons on the one guy who has the lease. bascially hasn't paid rent in 6 months.

this was all very dramatic as it is. but then last friday afternoon they cut off the electricity, obv because it hasn't been paid.

i got home drunk at like 4am and i couldn't get in because the gate was not working due to no power. can't climb an 8ft wall with electric fences,

i stayed at a friend's house, and went back the next day to pack a suitcase and all the housemates were home. **** got heated, there was some violence, and this ****** who hasn't paid the rent pulled a knife and tried to stab the other guy.

i left and stayed at various friends all week, one even let me bring lenny my cat with, which was a huge relief because it broke my heart when i went back to feed him everyday and i had to leave him there


so obviously i can't live here, and i somehow managed to get my deposit back from this maniac, and now im frantically looking for a new place to live.

today i looked at an amazing flat in the block next door to my bff and walking distance to the train station.

i will find out tomorrow if they allow pets, aka lenny. so positive vibes please, i want this place, i don't want to be homeless anymore.

I've never been in a situation where I wasn't also on the lease and paying my own half of everything directly. I'd hate to leave it to some other asshole to do (or not do).

that's a ****ty situation you have there. I hope the place you're looking at lets Lenny stay with you. Do you think you might be able to convince them to let you have a pet if they initially say no? I've been able to do that a couple times.

i guess its been pretty ****ty also because i am trying to win an incentive at work which means meeting a certain target, and i've been distracted for like a week and a half and i'm only just barely tracking for it and i'll be so ****ed if i don't win it. three months wasted. now i only have basically 6 more days in store. plus we are short staffed so i've basically spent the last two weeks of my life feeling like every aspect is in chaos and i have no control over everything.


i need to do a 40k to win this incentive (its called jet set, i needed to do 40k three months in a row and this is the 3rd month), im on 30k atm but i wanted a 50k so i could do a personal best and be on track for global ball next year which is in cancun. and would be amazing. /work. it sucks because i have nobody to talk to about this ****.


and so i really want this beautiful one bedroom flat with parquet floors and it's north facing, so it's so warm and old and i don't need to share with anybody except my cat.
