and some nibbles. Does anyone have any practical advice for throwing parties? I have a very small place, and it's only about 10 folks.

I am pretty bad at throwing parties, and I am a terrible and boring human being, I am sure it's going to be a disaster.

What about ****tails? What's easy and good? Are bitters easy to obtain?

The party is going to be worse than this thread, which I am pretty sure you will all agree is pretty bad.

I have a couple of really good looking women coming to this party, who are recently single. I have no idea why they are coming, I suspect they have some kind of metal disease.

They are coming because you are putting out the IDGAF sex juice.

ways to make it an awesome party:
-make sure there is plenty to drink for all of your guests, a wide variety
-same for the nibbles..a variety and something for everyone
-good playlist/mix
-comfort...you want them to feel welcome and relaxed...throw pillows & throw blankets
-have some recent topics stored in your brain to engage conversation
-dont get all anal and start cleaning while people are still there..let it sit & enjoy your company and also don't let them "help you" clean up
-have fun

coctails are easy. the things that go first at my parties are vodka cran & vodka orange. followed by beam, crown & rum. you can find mixers & bitters at any grocery or liqour shop

I will make it comfortable too and I should start working on a party playlist.

It's queens night tomorrow so I think the plan is to go out a bit later. I might wear a kilt also.
