so my room mate and concocted a plan to move out west together at the end of our lease next sept. i am so over the north east nuclear winters. and i can always come back if i dont like it.

ive been romanticizing living in california for a while now. but ive never been to san francisco, just san diego. so of course, ill have to make a visit before plotting out the details of making this a reality

people that have lived in the bay area, what are the draw backs and amazingnesses about living in san fran? i know its crazy expensive but so is ny, and i hear you get more bang for your buck in terms of rentals.

are cars a must? (i hate driving)
do you think a graphic designer and fashion person would thrive there? nyc is so competitive and filled with idiots that only succeed because of politics and being ****ty human beings.

i think i want to live in LA eventually but people tell me the people there are really fake and super ****ty. i know id hate the west hollywood ****ty *****s, but its the same as chelsea boys in nyc right? theyre avoidable.

I don't live there but I go enough to tell you if o ever moved there I would sell my car. You don't need it and parking is not only a ***** its pricey.

i like walking cities.
