Well I have fairly severe curvature of my spine

I mean, I'm fucked. And since I had to stop going its gotten much worse
But obvs can't pay for what is already done let alone more

I actually felt good for the 6 or so weeks I went

I just feel like its FRAUD if the Dr. says "YOU WONT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING" and then you get a bill for $800

It's been about 3-4 months since I last went and I have only received ONE bill. So maybe he knows I can't/won't pay

I mean I told him flat out, I can't pay you anything so this shit better be covered.

If I told him that, am I not relieved of responsibility?
He did the work KNOWING that if insurance didn't come through he wasn't getting paid.

The greatest asset they all have is themselves. And yet does anybody promote that to them? Does anybody tell them that they are the greatest asset they have? Or are they steered to idol worship? Are they moved, are they motivated, are they inspired to look at the president or any politician as their only salvation? If they are, it's just a shame.

he's not the expert on what your insurance covers and doesn't cover. he may have sounded like he was, but he wasn't. before getting any of that done, you needed to have contacted your insurance company directly to ask what was covered and what wasn't. they would have been the one to tell you if the procedures and visits were going to be part their responsibility and part yours (which is usually the case - most insurance plans i've been with have me cover a portion and they cover the majority of it).

doctors can sometimes be like salespeople. they want you to keep coming so they keep getting paid (either by you or the insurance). he might have been acting so assured just to get you to keep coming back.

ultimately though, it was your responsibility to know what your insurance would cover or not. almost every doctors office i've gone to make you sign something that attests to this.

i don't know how the US medical system works, but generally, it's your responsibility to know the terms of your insurance. sadly.
