Hi! I know this may sound silly...but i though i'll give it a try. Basically, I have one semester left of college. I'll get a BA in Psychology (with Honors) and i don't really see what I could do with it. I don't have any volunteer or community experience, so that's bad. Also, I would like to go to grad school but I suddenly don't feel confident in my chances to get in.
However, I know that I am smart and find my way around easily. My mother has her own business in Romania (where i'm from) and I feel I have what it takes to do that. After I'm done school, I'll have 1 year to work (legally), so I'm thinking to use that time to make the $$$. Then try the grad school.

So, it just crossed my mind to move to California and be a paparazzi. Haha How crazy is this? I like to take risks and I think I'll make a good "spy." however, I don't know where to start. any ideas?

Anyone else has any crazy work ideas like this? I'll share mine with you. As long as it's not prostitution I'm willing to go for anything (something that will bring me the big bucks).

I currently have a job that pays 7.25$/hour but I feel I can't get anywhere like this.

go to http://www.craigslist.com and click on adult gigs. Some of it's prostitution but a lot of it's just posing nude for a few hundred bucks. But trust me, you'd have to be a damn good paparazzi to make any money with the cost of living in LA (where you'd have to live, unless you were one of the real professional ones who follow individual stars). You can also find stuff under talent, writing, modeling, etc.

thanks for that. that is what i had in mind. to be a professional one. i don't know where to start but perhaps getting my driving license and a cell phone with camera will do. it just one of the ideas that came into my mind, but you never know. i'm tired of being poor.

This may sound crazy too, but at one point, my husband really wanted to be in the C.I.A. He's pretty cold and he loves taking risks and shit like that and he too thought he would love to be a spy, so I went to the C.I.A. website and it has all kinds of links to jobs right there.

It pays a lot higher than $7.00 an hour and if you're bilingual and in your 20's-30's, they would love you.

It sounds pretty kooky, but hey, you'd get a lot of experience and adventure out of it.

I'm actually getting another B.A., this time in Criminal Justice (it will go the fastest for me since I have a doctorate in Law), so I can actually go and do private detective work and things of that nature if I want to. I'm planning on getting a Master's in Secondary Education so I can be a professor, but hey, if I found a job doing detective work, that sounds kind of fun so I don't blame you for considering a career in that type of area.

Just think...working for the C.I.A...that would probably open a door or two in the paparazzi scene, don't ya think?
