I'm thinking of getting a masters in information and library sciences so I was wondering if someone who is a librarian or is in the middle of getting the degree out there could tell me how they like their work.

Or if anyone else out there who's thinking of doing the same thing wants to share anything...

Also- I'm moving to a state (Maine), which I don't think has any masters programs so I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on online degrees.

my friend did it online, having to attend some lectures.. i think once a month? something like that, but she did it at TWU and had no problems with it. TWU is a reputable university. just make sure you use a university close to you so that you can go to the campus lectures and has a decent reputation.

make sure the degree is accredited with the american library association. here is the list of places which are accredited:

other than that, i can't help too much. i'm entering librarianship myself, but in a different country and i think the process is different here
