im a full time student. my parents give me some money every now and then. i only plan on spending $5 on a credit card like once a month just to rebuild it. would it be really bad to get one without having a job?

I don't have a job but I have a credit card. I used to just spend small amounts that I knew I could pay back just to build my credit, and now I use it for things that my parents normally pay for but I have to get on my own, like prescriptions. So my mom pays the bill, lol.

But. I think it's a good idea to have it and do exactly what you said. As long as you make sure you can keep up with the payments, it's good to build your credit because it will help you out so so much in the future.

I'm guilty of this.

if anyone will actually give you one without an extreme rate, i guess it would be fine.

The greatest asset they all have is themselves. And yet does anybody promote that to them? Does anybody tell them that they are the greatest asset they have? Or are they steered to idol worship? Are they moved, are they motivated, are they inspired to look at the president or any politician as their only salvation? If they are, it's just a shame.

A lot of credit card companies will cut deals for students. My first one had zero interest but it sucked because they charged me $9 every time I payed my bill online and fuck if I'm writing out a goddamn check to you every month
