this is when you take the last garbage bag out of the box and then immediately put the box into the bag that was just in it.

in the uk black bags come on a roll. no box. so this is a curious and exotic thing to me.

maybe in harrods they come in a box, i don't know

for some reason we take national pride in this

oh. the blue recycling bags i get come on a roll. because if you care about recycling you don't want to waste boxes. but only while actively recycling. any other time its a total box free for all.

wow i really need to start calling them refuse sacks.
