a lot of my friends have the exact same problem, honestly immigration laws are idiotic if the only choices they leave people are to be here illegally or get married.

I'm likely to be moving from the 'burbs into london next september, so will now be paying this thread extra attention

even though two of my best friends in the world are boys with passports

one of my mates at uni 'married' another mate so she could stay in the country, apparently it is surprisingly easy to organise a sham wedding?

good luck with it though, i hope something pops up, like i said i find it stupid that if people want to be here legitimately the govt gives them no choice but to it illegally
