they didin't really sound like either.
i mean, they could easily be a variation of either of those.
but it's a clear and crisp click-click-click-click
and less of a shh-shh-shhh-shh noise.
there are wisteria vines that wrap around all my windows and the roof of my house, and i bet they live in there. hence, the sound is loud, and constant.

yeah, i got loads of the small brown ones in my room when i was little. i became quite fond of them if you hold either the body or the head the other part will go up and down madly and make a clicking sound. and then you put them outside. oh and they can fly too, but they hardly ever do.
