no, if there was neer a court order for child suport then he owes nothing to aneyone, your mom must not of wanted to get suport from him or she would of got a court order for him to pay, and he would owe her not you, you hae no grounds for a case at all

you can't do squat but your mother can and should have.

My dad still owes my mom about $10,000, and I'm 30. I understand this way too much

i think it's a bit late now. your mother should of done something about it when you were actually a child

my dad owed my mum thousands of dollars of unpaid child support and i'm older than you are, he's now passed so we are out of luck.

we did however have is wages garnished when i was in college to help pay for it. by law here teh parent has to support the child unilt they are 24 if they are in post secondary education. he was not happy but the courts said pay up or we take it. they took it.
