Do any of you guys work for one of the major studios in L.A (movies, tv)?

If so, please get me a internship.

since a majority of the studio internships are unpaid, i would think you could get one pretty easily. have you checked craigslist? i used to work for emi and they had unpaid internships as well.

and a couple of weeks ago i turned down a job offer from fox so if they're hiring for paid gigs, surely they will have some internships available.

yeah. it should be unpaid. College credit.

but I'm international so they would just need to settle a work visa for me...but this is not difficult....and even easier for an unpaid internship.

I checked the websites of all the major studios (and some smaller ones) and most had internships programs and so I sent them my resume.
Now I'm waiting for replies but already losing hope I won't get it but I want it soooooo soooooo much.

How long should I wait?
I will check craigslist now.

oh. finding some stuff on craiglist. thanks, I'm gonna apply cause you can always try right?

but umm....They never name the company in their ad. Should I send my resume+cover letter directly to the "reply to" thing from craigslist, or should I just send them a message asking for a email address where I can send my resume (so I know someone will see it).
I don't really know how craiglist works all that well.

And how do I know when they say "movie production" they're not talking about porn? lol, but seriously, is this stuff legit?

ew yeah some of the movie production unnamed companies might very well be porn. i keep seeing one ad for someone to be a reviewer of adult films. gross.

actually now that i think about it, more of the movie studios were posting job ads on monster. i saw several for sony and nbc and for some random ones in santa monica.

if i were you i wouldn't send my resume to a craigslist ad unless it is an actual email address with the studio name as the domain name.
