lanlord issues.

is anyone knowledgable on uk tenants rights? my landlord is trying to evict us from our house with only a few days notice and I am just about to go away for two weeks and am quite nervous that I will return to find the locks have been changed and I no longer have a house. I will post the boring details if someone thinks they might be able to help? would really appreciate it.
