Lavendar's wonderful, and is supposed to keep the bugs away too.

Maybe something tumbling down would add shape and life to it, too. Maybe a miniature ivy?

Geraniums are always astonishing, but I can imagine they'd get easily damaged if they catch the wind.

runner beans are easy to grow.
maybe sunflowers for the summer.
put in seeds for the winter time too.
awwwww.

I love runner beans, I might do those next year. I think the canes would nicely add height to the rather small garden, too. I'm going to build up one corner quite high, too, and put a buddleia in it. I do love sunflowers too..

i bought myself an african violet and its actually doing quite well so far
i'm not very good with plants
i want something i can hang from one of the hooks in a my room that will smell good but not make me allergic
i swear i had a honeysuckle plant or something like that hanging in my room as a kid
they're probably pricey though
my violet was less than $3

i don't know a lot about window boxes
but the first garden i ever had was in the alley behind my first apt in the city
i'm sure the soil wasn't the healthiest
i had pea pods that grew really well
i only like sugar snap peas now though
