Im really scared to see how much I owe. Its gonna be like £20, 000 min.
I havent had an invoice for a long time, a year that is.
I feel your pain. I am on the 30-year-plan for $105,000.

they can't really **** you over too much as it's tied to a percentage of your wages, as i'm sure you know, but apparently it's a real pain to try and deviate from that.
the one thing that is really bothering me is how the interest rate keeps rising,as when i signed up it wasn't too bad, something like 3.6% i'm alright at the moment, as i managed to finance my masters without having to go to the bank or the loan company (not that they would have helped) but after this i want to do more study and its really bothering me that all that time the money will just keep rising. ticking along in the backround
because i graduated last year they keep sending me invoices and don't seem to want to believe i'm still a student. i half expect them to send the heavies round to rough me up by the tone of the letters.

hehe i graduated 3 yrs ago (and started another degree straight after)...they never sent the heavies round....
i heard that if u try to pay it off to early that they can charge u! which i think is really unfair if u just wanna try to get out of debt!
$40,000 here. just for tuition.
in Australia someone did a study and found that most women won't repay their loan before they die.
it really makes you wonder whether uni is the right pathway.
