yeah, we have to take a few on at my work soon. This woman from a school phoned up today and was asking questions. I told my manager and he said "yeah, we have to be really selective now, we don't want a repeat of last year". I asked him what he meant and he said that they took one fifteen year old girl on a placement who spent the entire time being obsessed with my section manager, so much so that on her last day, she trapped him in the staff room and kept saying to him "you're in love with me aren't you?" it then transpired that she had carved his initials into her arms with a compass...ahhhhhhhhh! Although my line manager ****ing rocks, but what physcho! I remember my own work experience was terrible...but anyone have any worse horror stories than that?

on one of my work experience placements the staff showed me "the place where we hide from the boss", it was inside a large cardboard box in a cupboard, and they were actually being serious!

haha! oh my god, where was your placement? I was supposed to go to a theatre but ended up in Evans clothes shop...in like 90 degree July heat doing ALL the **** jobs. I remember my only respite was going to OurPrice in my lunchbreak (when they still exsisted) and listening to Placebo on the listening posts...and yet all these years later and i'm stuck in retail...

it was in a hairdressers

i had to dust shelves for a week, and one time they forgot to let me go to lunch and i was so upset.
then the last two days i unwrapped 700 dvds from their plastic, and put the disks in to cases and labbelled and wrote prices on EVERY SINGLE ONE.
it was horrible.
and my boss listened to soul/rnb/hip hop./
