Dont you lose a lot of money through commission fees?

Those big money tins are good, the ones you have to open with a can opener. Spare change is annoying anyway and if you put it in there you can end up with a couple hundred bucks by the time you fill it up.

i work for a bank so i dont have to pay commission, and they give me the mid rate too which is great! i usually change into a currency that i will use at some point like canadian or us dollars - at the minute the rate is so good it's crazy

I give my money to my mother who puts it into an account that I can't access. Unfortunately it's been ages since I last did this and am now consistently broke.
