it depends on the place, but in some women get pushed into doing more than stripping. i think some people are really desperate, also perhaps they're working illegally and if they can't find anything else and the stripping isn't bringing enough in then it seems like their only choice.

I've heard that unless you're hot enough to be a star girl in some really well-known, nice club, it's hell. If it's just some hole in the wall strip club then the management will treat you like crap, expect you to sleep with customers, not kick out people that grope, harass and threaten you, harass you themselves, etc. And if you're just the girl that goes on before the really hot girl at a really nice club, you're still disposable so they're not going to work that hard to keep you happy. At really nice places supposedly the guys are not allowed to touch you and get kicked out if they do, but I doubt that's true of most.

Not entirely related, but two shy girls I went to high school with ended up being strippers. One was the type who would hang out with her mom and act as if she was better than everyone. The other would hump anything with a pulse, but had like.. the grossest, scariest droopy-eyed face ever.

maybe in theory they would, but i doubt many guys would really be cool with their girlfriend being a stripper.

Seriously. I doubt any guy would actually be able to realize that their girlfriend was being seen naked, ogled, and jacked off to by hundreds of men a night, giving them lap dances, and flirting with them, without feeling extremely uncomfortable. Most of them would only be cool with it if the girl was just "my girlfriend the stripper" - someone to show off and have their ego boosted by. If it was a girl they were totally in love with aside from their profession, I doubt they'd still feel cool.
