I teach English as a Second Language night classes, part time to adults (mostly my age or older). They're the advanced level, (so I won't see them ever again after class is done) and somewhat recent immigrants but their English is generally quite good, or at least good enough for my purposes. hahaha.

I really have the hots for the guy from El Salvador. Former teacher himself, soccer coach, 5ish years older than me and has me wondering whether the Latin lover thing is a fiction. hrrrrmmmm.

Back to the topic, if you guys are just 5 years apart, I don't see it as a big deal. Although, the school might and you could risk your part time job :/ just because some institutions are funny about that kind of thing.

Go for all you are worth, and if anyone questions you about it, for God's sake lie.
I would never fancy any of my pupils, as luckily the age gap is too big. But I can sort of think about them and go "if I was in their class with them I would have had a secret crush", or "they might be hot when they grow up a bit".

I feel like a terrible human being for having these thoughts. Err who am I kidding? I love it. I just don't wanna get fired.

Seems I can only meet nice men while working. I need a new career where this is kosher.
