Question Job Interviews

I have two job interviews tomorrow one basically straight after the other

It's ok because I haven't got too far to go for either, one I can walk then the other I can drive to in around 7 minutes (or so the AA routefinder tells me!)

Still I need advice about general interview skills because I haven't had alot of jobs in my time...i.e I have only had one that stuck with for 6 1/2 years throughout school, college and uni
Not alot of jobs means not alot of interview experience, so can anyone tell me what I should expect except the obligatory questions of why do you want to work here?

Thanks in advance

i suggest some of the following:

- be on time, or early
- wear formal business attire, no matter what kind of job it is
- research the company (ie what services they offer, when they were founded). Usually a look around their website will do
- don't use slang
- prepare answers to the questions they will most likely ask in advance

umm thats all i can think of for now, but they are all pretty obvious

cool thanks for the advice. I think having an interview at 9am then one at 10.30 was a bit of a silly idea but oh well! I will leave one with answers fresh in my head for the other

I was planning on the shirt, black trousers, flats kind of outfit. I don't think I need to wear a suit jacket though.

Be friendly, maintain eye contact, smile a lot. Dress formally, I hate it when people go for interviews in jeans and a tshirt.
What you're planning on wearing sounds fine. I just went for a job interview, I wore black trousers, black flats and a mustard coloured jumper. I got the job straight away which was great - try to anticipate what questions they will ask and lie like hell - remember, you never take time off, you work hard and you don't cut corners.
Good luck!
