The 'I found out my friend who was supposed to move in with me is on heroin' post

So basically I've gotten a new flat. I'd arranged for my former classmate to move in with me. He's been going out with a girl from my class for 2 years, they broke up and I only found out at Leeds Festival why. So now I've had to get rid of him and now how to find someone else to move in within the next 3 weeks. STRESS!

Advertise on gumtree (if they have one for Oop North). Or try putting an advert in the local paper, or contacting the local unis housing service if you don't mind a student. Don't let a heroin addict move in though- my mum did that and he pawned her music collection.

I put an ad on MSH which is owned by the uni in manchester, and people have booked viewings.

Thats cool. Atleast with a student there is a greater likelihood of them being normal (or atleast not having a criminal record) as compared to a complete randomer.

That's kind of what I thought. My old flatmate who I've lived with for 2 years now is staying wih me at the moment, and if he gets a job he might stay for good.
