Doesn't that make your results potentially unreliable? Is there a way to control for liars.

Also, this seems like an interesting study but I think all people who make attempts to contact celebs beyond a simple "Hi, I am a fan, you're so cool/ want to acknowledge you did something great and thank you" are kinda warped.

All studies (online, face-to-face, lab, and otherwise) do the best they can to control for everything; mine is no exception, and there are several mechanisms in place to control for anything and everything I could ever hope to control for! I wish I felt like I could talk about it more without giving away the secrets to my study
