it's not that successful, she had one good album and has basically been irding that ever since.

I think Courtney will be remembered better than Alanis and as more of a rock legend. I look at these rock lists and I see Hole's Live through this on there but not Jagged Little Pill. I think the Alanis moment was just a mainstream thing that happened briefly but people won't really hold it in the same regard as the stuff that came before it. Though Alanis did inspire lots of people and still has a lot of fans people sort of look at that moment as well as the Lilith Fair chicks and don't take it that seriously anymore.
