She'll be singing a different tune as soon as this phase becomes irrlevant for her as well.
it's true.
i like some of the music she puts out, but she seems like an awful person.

I quite like her music but I'm not a big fan of her. I guess I agree with the first poster in that she takes herself far too seriously. And some of her outfits have been horrendous.

It's weird, but I feel like her so-called feminist songs, like "Can't Hold Us Down", would be way more empowering if I didn't know it was her who was singing them, and if I hadn't heard her trying to explain the point of the song in detail. The lyrics themselves are alright (you know, they're not genius, but they get the point across) but to then hear her bleating on about how feminist and empowering it is, it's like she's undermining her own song by trying to force us to look at it from one particular angle, and it's just like...yeh, ok, stfu now, you're not THAT radical so just let us listen to the fkn song.

Christina Aguilera is the epitome of the fake prefabricated 100% commercial artist, and she still is. She is such a fake.

And she thinks she's the new Madonna and she's somehow being rebel and speaking out for women and changing society, and she's doing nothing of the sort. Madonna already did it better 13 years ago. I mean Stripped was such an Erotica rip off. You see the interviews and you see how hard she tried to sound rebellious. It's almost as if she had seen all the Madonna interviews from the period and she was just rehasshing them.

And her current phase is also another Madonna rip off. From the wannabe Bedtime Stories album cover to the Marilyn Monroe sound/look. Breathless Mahoney anyone?? Madonna already immitated MARILYN for years and she did it better than anyone. We don't need anyone else doing it.
