Kate and Pete’s amazing pact
Pete Doherty must be pinching himself. The troubled rocker has struck the deal of the century with his on-off lover
Kate Moss. According to Kate’s biographer
Fred Vermorel, the high-profile pair are still very much an item – and their relationship has survived thanks to a bizarre pact they’ve made. The way it works is this: each of them is allowed to sleep with a maximum of one other person – a week! Who said romance was dead, eh?
“They’ve become scared of being photographed together. They want a bit of space to work things out,” says Fred, who insists the couple rekindled their romance shortly after Kate was photographed allegedly snorting cocaine.
“Their relationship has always been fairly free in any case – he’d been with groupies at the height of their time together and she’d been seen with other men too. Kate is fine about Pete having the odd one-night stand – because she does that too. But she doesn’t like the idea of him sleeping with a different girl every night.”
We reckon Pete’s definitely got the best end of the bargain: he’s dating one of the world’s most beautiful women – and he gets to sleep around on the side. As for Kate… sorry love, but we think it’s high time someone got themselves down to Specsavers.
