'Jersey Shore' star Snooki gves birth to baby boy

Reality TV star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has given birth to a baby boy.

The Jersey Shore favourite and her fiance Jionni LaValle welcomed their first child, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, to the world in the early hours of Aug. 26, 2012 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.

A representative for the star says in a statement, "Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"

Polizzi simultaneously announced her pregnancy and her engagement to LaValle in March.
