 update on George
After lying in cold storage since his death, poor George may finally be getting to rest in peace.
At the time of his death Sherman had a will which left his estate to his girlfriend of many years. Naturally, out of the dark come 2 men claiming to be his half brothers and contesting the will. They claim that because the will stated he had no siblings that it was wrong and therefore invalid. After much court wrangling, dna tests submitted after a deadline, and accusations of coercion, the court sided with Shermans girlfriend and awarded her the body and the estate. As he was an Air Force veteran he is going to be buried at the national cemetary in his adopted hometown of El Paso.
Thousands spent to try to take this estate from its rightful heir. In the end, the estate consists of the home he lived in and some $50,000. Hardly worth the pain inficted on his girlfriend when she ahould have been burying and mourning her man.
