She was asked to audition for some good movies (LA Confidential) and never did. Who knows if she would have got the part, but she probably could have done much better than she did in terms of films.

Her claim sounds totally plausible if you realize "soul not in it" basically just means laziness. Which is also big reason why her music career went to **** after Celebrity Skin.

Her soul wasn't into working, it was into being an idle crack addicted rich ****.

And even if she had been making movies for the last fifteen years, she's old now, and everybody knows there aren't a lot of roles for old ladies (even the reliable ones). So while she may not have been the dumped party back in 2000, she is now.

I think it was both: laziness on her part, and being dumped by the industry too. Courtney was pregnant during the filming of Trapped in 2001. She suffered a miscarriage on set. The director of the movie forced her to go to the hospital and she was there for a week. She wasn't happy, and I guess people involved in the movie were ****ed because her antics cost them money.

I remember people here saying it wasn't a big deal and that Courtney was strong blah blah blah. Maybe the miscarriage affected her. Looking back, that was like the beginning of her downfall: showing up at events looking like **** and acting crazy. What she's been doing for 11 years now:

Than clo basically became jim barber's crazy exwife.
